Flood Damage and Stained Concrete Floors

The 2015 All Hallows Eve flood in San Marcos was so severe that our quaint abode on the top of a hill got flooded.  Although we're nowhere near the river, we had a quarter-inch of water come through the walls our our house, ruining our bedroom carpet and all the affected walls.  One thing is for sure, I can really empathize with those who have had flooding in the past.  I'm not about to say that what we experienced was anywhere nearly as traumatic as someone who has had feet of water (or more!) in their house, but the experience I had to go through with just the little water we had really helps me to appreciate the hardships of those who have lost so much of their lives to rising waters.
